Ending 1 Challenge and Beginning Another

Believe it or not today marks the end of the No More Bacon 100 Day Challenge. If you haven’t heard about it you can read all about it here. Everyone who submitted a goal and completed it is going to get a prize so expect an email by tomorrow. I hope I get to give away a lot of free stuff!

As for my 100 day goal I have a confession to make. Had I been eligible I would not be receiving any SWAG. I missed the goal by 1.1 pounds. At my official 100 day weigh-in I came in at 289.1. BUMMER! I think the worst part is being this close without getting it. Six weeks away from my program due to surgery definitely didn’t help my situation but I’m not one for excuses. I didn’t quite meet my goal. I’m not going to beat myself up over it, I worked hard, but it is going to make me more committed to set and meet new goals. I can definitely say that I’m MUCH healthier than I was 100 days ago and I’m now only 64 pounds away from meeting my goal weight. I will for sure get there this year! I can’t wait!

64 is a number very close to another important number for this week. We have 13 contestants entered in the NMB Biggest Loser Challenge and to date, after 1 week, they have lost a total of 67.6 pounds! Amazing! I was so impressed by the results and the hard work put in by everyone. We have 7 males and 6 females competing so it’s a great mix and they are making some great changes! I want to give a shout out to Brandon for being our week 1 winner and dropping 11 pounds in the first week, going from 253 to 242. He lost 4.54% of his body weight in the first week!

He’s going to win a Camelbak Water Bottle and a Harbinger Speed Rope to help him keep going with his weight loss. Congratulations Brandon!

I’m excited for what the next weeks have in store for us and I can’t wait to see the changes that people are able to make in their lives. Anyone can be successful at losing weight. Like I’ve said before, weight loss is 80% mental, 40% physical, and 20% emotional. Believe that you can be successful and you will be successful, guaranteed.

I failed at the 100 day challenge (lost about 34 of 40 pounds). I won’t let it happen with the Biggest Loser. Here I go! Thanks for keeping us motivated.
