Day 163: New Pants for Christmas
I know that I haven’t given you an update on my weight loss progress for quite a while now, and I thought that Christmas would be a good time to do it. The hospital fiasco and a healing midsection are the main reasons that you haven’t had any photo updates for a while. You need to know that I’m still following my program and I’m still losing weight.
Many of you may remember but in case you don’t (or you’re new here), I wrote about how thrilled I was to fit back into the suit I was married in. Well, I put those same suit pants on about 3 weeks ago and they fit like M.C. Hammer pants. I was seriously drowning in them. Airport security would hate me wearing these pants due to the fact that I could easily transport small exotic animals across international lines without them being the wiser.
Since the time this photo was taken I’ve dropped some more weight (I’ll post numbers soon), and maybe if you’re all good we can get some more shirtless photos up some time next month.

Wow, Ryan! I am really impressed. Even with the “small hiccup” of major abdominal surgery you look FABULOUS. Brandon saw your picture and said, “Great, now I’m the oldest AND the fattest!”

Right on! Not many can say that their clothes outgrew them during the holiday season. I’m glad I stumbled upon your blog – I’m looking forward to your adventures in the New Year.
